You have been missing in action for some time now. What do you look forward to in 2006?
I have a very exciting line-up of films with some great directors and co-stars. I am really looking forward to 2006.
Viewers will see me in a wide variety of roles. I am optimistic about many of my forthcoming films.
Tell us something about your forthcoming projects. Is there any project that needed special effort?
Some of my forthcoming films are Buddhadeb Dasgupta's Kaal Purush, where I play an ambitious wife, Taxi No. 9211 opposite John Abraham, and Benaam. Kaal Purush is a film that I have done for the love of acting.
I worked very hard on my diction and mannerisms for the role and I am happy that the effort has paid off.'' I feel that the film that has already done the rounds of many festivals, has brought plenty of acclaim for me.

...What type of roles do you plan to play in the future?
I am making conscious efforts to do a different role in every film. And that's why I am being very selective when it comes to signing films.
I was the first among my sisters to make a debut in Bollywood. Then Sushma followed suit. I loved her in Chocolate. I think she rocked and will surely go places, watch out!
Do you sisters find time to spend with each other, given your hectic schedules?
We manage to steal some moments together by either by taking vacations or going out for meals together whenever there is the chance. My family is my support structure. Without them, I will not have been where I am.
